Summary

The Anti Craft Laser (AA) is a 2x2 defense room unlocked at level five. It's the only room available to players that can shoot and destroy enemy Crafts launched from the Hangar. As a result, it's also a massive target for Hangar users.

Usage

In Combat

The AA is a very high risk, high reward room. An AA by itself cannot defend against experienced Hangar users, and its 2 maximum power would just make it an easy target for hull damage. Thus, 4+ Armor is a necessity for the AA. Despite the risks, the AA is still the best counter to the Hangar.

When To Use

The AA should never be used by itself. It's too easily disabled and then focused fired for it to be worthwhile. Thus, players recommend waiting until level 8 where two AAs are available. With 2 AAs, even if one is EMP'd, the other one can continue to attack the swarming enemy Craft.

AI

Below is an AI command that automatically depowers the Anti Craft Laser when there are no enemy Crafts launched.


Enemy Has Active Craft -> Increase Power By 1
None -> Set Zero Power
