Summary
The Aquarium is the first 2x3 Bedroom ever introduced in Pixel Starships. In addition to its unique size, it's the only "premium" Bedroom that can be upgraded. This allows it to have a Crew capacity of 2, although the upgrade is quite expensive. It's sold through the Dove Store for 180 Doves and occasionally through Daily Sales. It's also the unofficial home of Squid and co.
Trivia
- The Aquarium was originally sold for 890 Starbux
on June 2nd, 2017. - Players used to be able to purchase the Aquarium directly from SavySoda through Facebook with an increased price. This service was sadly discontinued after the introduction of Tournaments.
- The Aquarium has an unused 2x2 version in the game files.
- The red squid in the level 2 Aquarium is a reference to Angry Squid.
- The level 2 Aquarium once had its level requirement changed to 7. However, this was quickly reverted due to community backlash. The main reason for the uproar was that players who had upgraded before the change would still keep their room level, giving an unfair advantage.
- The Aquarium has no destroyed sprite.
