Summary
The Merchant Ship is an NPC ship accessible on the main screen (The one with your Starship). It appears daily but only after the player has checked the Dropship. Up to 4 items are sold in the Merchant Ship for either Minerals 
, Gas 
, or Starbux 
.
Most of the time, items sold are randomly picked by the game, with Artifacts and Crates being the most common items sold. However, the developers do like to change the items sold for events or special occasions.
Saturday Market
Starting on April 19th, 2019, the Merchant Ship will sell 4 high value/rarity items on you guessed it, Saturday. It may not always appear immediately since the developers have to manually add the items.
The items sold are of Unique rarity or higher and are usually quite powerful (and expensive, ouch). It's not that uncommon for Hero or even Special items to be sold here. And of course, they all cost Starbux to purchase.
Trivia
- Saturday Markets were originally called Friday Markets and held on said day. This was changed on April 6th, 2019.
- The first Friday Market was held on March 22nd, 2019.
