Summary

The Rocket Artillery Launcher (RAL) is a 3x2 Weapon room bought in the Dove Store for 95 Doves Points. The RAL functions similarly to the Missile Launcher in combat, with a few notable differences. It fires a unique barrage of rockets, It has 4 power, and it increases the Missile storage limit by 50.

Usage

In Combat

The Rocket Artillery Launcher is generally paired with two other Missile Launchers to enhance their Missile combos. However, due to the Dove cost needed to unlock the RAL, it's mostly seen in mid-late game ships. The RAL's ability to barrage its target with missiles can be unparalleled when coupled with crew who have Rush Command ability. The RAL can play a pivotal role in battle, depending how its implemented. Use the RAL to target the Shield Room while other weapons concentrate fire on Reactors, Cloak Generator and/or Teleporter Room. The RAL is a great weapon room for dominating the enemy!

  • Advantages: Absolutely bombard Shields with a barrage of missiles, and works very well when paired with crew who have the Rush Command ability.
  • Disadvantages: Cool down and reload speed can be slow with no crew, and even still if the crew lack the Rush Command ability to enhance reload time.
  • Additional Notes: It's basically an enhanced missile room with the ability to send a powerful volley of several missile rounds in quick succession. Best used to take out Shields, or individual rooms quickly.

Crew Interactions

The Multi Missile Launcher is buffed with the Weapon Weapon stat on Crew. The reload reduction formula applied when the RAL is buffed can be found here.

Trivia

  • The Multi Missile Launcher uses the Missile Launcher's destroyed sprite.
  • The Multi Missile Launcher doesn't have a destroyed exterior sprite, nor does it have an exterior sprite for the Visiri and Ardent Protector Ships.
