How do I get started?[]
First of all you should pick a faction. Law abiding Federation, raucous Pirates, or the mineral obsessed Qtarians, there’s a group for everyone.
I want to blow things up and generally cause trouble.[]
Good, that’s the right idea. Your friendly AI will guide you through initial ship construction and purchasing some weapons. Make sure you stop by the shop regularly to access new rooms, weapons and equipment.
Your weapons all have a reload time determined by how much power they are allocated. Manage your power, and upgrade your reactors to get more juice!
Try different targets on the enemy ship. You can try to break down their shield first. Or directly target their weapons or reactors. Once a room is destroyed, you start damaging the hull directly. Try different strategies and if you keep getting blown out of the sky, upgrade your weapons, reactors and shields. Some weapons are more effective on certain targets than others, so check their profiles to max out. And make the most of your crew by giving them AI commands. They can attack enemy ships, or try to defend and repair your ship. Check their stats to see whether they are hard-core brawlers suitable for hostile boarding, or more suited to science and repair work on your own ship. Rooms and weapons gain bonuses depending on what crew is on battle stations.

More fights, that’s what. Manage your crew attacks one at a time or set it to auto, they will fire whenever they have reloaded their weapons. Level up your crew to earn special attacks.

Then visit the shipyard to buy new, much cooler ships. Hire more crew in the shop to keep everything ticking along. Upgrade your systems to stay on the cutting edge in battle.
But where do I get the money to build my space-smashing massive ship?[]
Build gas and mineral processing plants to eke out a living, and check your Objectives page to earn rewards for completing tasks. Check out your system and galactic maps, they will show you missions your faction needs completed. And if you still need more cash, attack other players! Winning PVP battles will earn you XP and rewards.
What else is there to do in this galaxy?[]
Join a fleet for large scale warfare and bragging rights. And make sure to subscribe to the monthly battle passes to earn special rewards and big prizes!
